Methos with Duncan's sword at his throat

“Culprit”
by A. Magiluna Stormwriter

The room was silent for a long tense moment.  Even Amanda was unnaturally quiet in the wake of what was happening before them.  No one had suspected something like this would ever happen.  Mac with a sword to Methos’ neck?  It was insanity of the highest sort.

I wanted nothing more than to record this for Mac’s Chronicle, but I didn’t dare move anymore than Methos…or anyone else in the room.  We really didn’t know that he wouldn’t turn on us next.

“Mac, please,”  Methos murmured, begged.

“Tell the truth, Methos,”  came the growled response.

“Okay, I farted.  Happy now?”
